Abstract

In the Writings of Muhammad Iqbal, there are many verses which have been quoted. He used many hints and allusions of The Holy Quran and Hadith in his poetry. As it is his prose has filled with Quranic verses. Muhammad Iqbal somewhere presented these verses to support his stance, and somewhere by quoting and interpreting these verses he strived to explore the common issues of humanity. Muhammad Iqbal had wanted to write some notes on Quran, but he could not do it due to death .When interpreting the scriptures, Muhammad Iqbal often adhered to the standard commentators' interpretations while also deriving a number non-traditional meanings and thoughts. Despite this outlook, he has repeatedly stated that his method is consistent with the Prophetic methodologies and Qur'anic principles. In this research, his style of interpretation and explanation had been researched and critically evaluated.
