The religion of Islam is a complete code of life and a religion of nature, in which human nature, the customs and traditions of each region have been taken into account. Many cultural and social practices that our values do not allow us to adopt, we unthinkingly accept these practices based on implementation, generation after generation. While adopting the lifestyle of the influential classes in the society, we forget the example of “The people are on the path of their rulers”. These methods, through our traditions and thoughts cannot be declared correct in the light of Islamic teachings. Therefore, in every region, such customs and beliefs are seen in abundance, which are based on other religions and religious perspectives that influence the thinking of an individual and thinking of Muslims in the subcontinent in different areas of time and place, rather than the Islamic style. Now, it is necessary to adopt these rituals in the light of Qur'an and Sunnah and to consider the moderate aspect in them. In this paper, we will discuss the marriage rituals in Gilgit areas in the light of Islamic laws.
