Abstract

Islam being Comprehensive Code covering all aspects of life has codified its embodiment in Quran- the Book which illustrates broadly everything in the universe and important for mankind.

Importance of Fruits for mankind has duly been cited in Holy Quran. Many a plants have been discussed in the Holy Book; Grape is one of the Fruits quoted with its benefits.

Current study revolves round the Grape/Inab (Vitis viniferal) importance of which is pointed out in the Book Eleven times with different angles in various Surah. For making the study more meaningful, other relevant literature including Hadith, Scientific Publications are researched to cover the every value of the plant.

Grapes contains important bioactive compounds including flavonoids, polyphenols, anthocyanins which are rich in nutritional values. They contain carbohydrates, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium and iron, which are very useful for human health hepatoprotechtive and neuroprotective activities.
