The Implications and Effects of Hypocrisy on Worship

Abstract

The article reveals the importance of intension before doing any deed.  The research unveils the fact that our deeds depend upon intension whether good or bad.  The term Hypocrisy can be defined as any deed which can be performed not to impress Allah Almighty but to get one’s own benefits from others.

Our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) said that our deeds depend upon our intentions. The present study also gives emphasis on this fact in the light of Quran and Hadith that one must be aware of this reality that everyone is answerable to Allah Almighty and on the Day of Judgment we will be judged by our intentions. This is the only possible way to get close to Allah Almighty. The scope of this research is to give society a moral lesson so that they can avoid showing off.
