Abstract

Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is the source of all beings and all mankinds. Therefore, the Ahl-e-Kitab are also included in the ummah of the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) as a human being. The Ahl-e-Kitab knew the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) because they had read and made good progress in their books the attributes and achievements of Our Prophet (PBUH). It was His (PBUH) duty to convey the message of Islam to them and guide them to the right path. The Prophet (PBUH) preached specially to the Ahl-e-Kitab in order to fulfil this responsibility. As a result, their scholars were adorned with Islamic ornaments. For example, Hazrat Abdullah bin Salam (RA), Hazrat Mamoon bin Yameen (RA), Hazrat Usaid bin Saeed (RA), etc, became the companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) while responding to the call of Islam. And most of the Ahl-e-Kitab did not accept Islam in the time of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). However, after accepting the Islam at the hands of the Companions, they attained the status of Tabi'i. As, Islam is true and all religions except Islam are abrogated, then we too should adopt the method of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and preach the Ahl-e-Kitab so that they too may attain the hereafter and be the cause of our salvation.

Adopt Minhaj-un-Nabawi and present a true picture of Islam so that they enter Islam on their own. For this, it is necessary to play our role by adopting the principles of wisdom, understanding, good preaching and debating in a good way. In this context, this research paper mentions the Ahl-e-Kitab who entered in Islam during the period of Holy Prophet (PBUH).
