Abstract

Islam is a complete code of conduct and has a basic view of the universe, life and human being. The concept of "Social Justice" is the core of this idea, which presents the Islamic justice as a complete and comprehensive humanitarian law that is not limited to materialistic or economic issues. According to that, values of life are spiritual as well as materialistic too and distinguishing the two is not correct. Humanity is a unite entity in which the various elements coexist, co-ordinate and share sense of responsibilities. The cohesiveness of the individual and congregation is very deep, and the existence of the two is interrelated. The social justice describes a rule about this interrelationship and describes all the details, like, the relationship of the individual to his or her self, then with his or her immediate family, then with the community. In addition, in the same way, the principles of fairness are shared by one nation with another and between generations, everything is driven with the rule of social justice. The collective justice considers the relationship of the individual and society as sharing mutual responsibilities. We would now understand some of the basic characteristics of the Islamic society in the context of social justice, whose practical application lies in the development of society.
